Juan Pablo Villalobos

Juan Pablo Villalobos was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1973. His first novel, Down the Rabbit Hole (And Other Stories), was the first translation to be shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award in 2011 and the book has been translated into 15 languages. It was also shortlisted for The Oxford Weidenfeld Translation Prize. Quesadillas, his second novel, will be published by And Other Stories in September 2013. He will be in UK 2nd – 8th September.
